Some of you may remember my obsessing over period cdrama Four Women Conflict back in the spring.
I finally had to stop midway through because it was too angsty and overwrought even for me to take in one sitting. I mean it. FWC makes the most overwrought, makjang kdrama seem like a cheery slice-of-life romcom.

Honestly, by now, I am about ready for Damo to take a lesson from a Thai lakorn and kidnap Saran until she sees sense. According to lakorns, locking up a pissed-off woman somewhere always seems to work and lurve blossoms. They usually throw in some raping too, but that would probably be going just a tad overboard. :P

My favorite part was that she initiated the hug (it even took him a second to respond, he was in so much shock) and my second favorite was when she was about to end the hug and he begged her to stay like this a moment longer.

The scene by the riverbank 22 of Gisaeng is going on the list of my all-time favorite drama scenes. It has also replaced the kneeling scene as my fave scene in this drama. So much dysfunction and hurt and hotness and just - guuuuuh.
